The Zeiss AxioObservor Z71 fluorescent microscope in the Core is a state of the art instrument aquired in 2009.  Image conditions and reproducibility is enhanced due to the Automatic Component Recognition of the AxioObserver Z1.  Objective, contrast, and LED illumination are automatically set and optimized together for the best possible image.  All major microscope functions are managed via programmable pushbuttons on the focusing ring.  This allows the user to control the entire microscope without ever taking eyes off of the eyepieces. The scope also has a TFT touch screen to visualize and control all working conditions on the microscope
