Dr.
Kim sung-bae, Kim Jae-heup, Ahn Yong-Tae are leaving NCI-FCRDC. Farewell party for them on Aug. 5 (sat.).
July:

Dr.
Cho, Jae-Yong decided to go to korea.
He got a job offer from Je-Il-Je-Dang Research Institute. He will leave Frederick later August. Good luck to him.
June:

Dr.
Shin, Hyung-Doo had a party for his daughter's first year at Fort Detrick Pond
on June 10, 2000. We had a chance to
enjoy the famous "Maryland Crab" at the birthday party. Thanks for giving us a chance to taste crab
this year again. In addition, Dr. Shin
recently founded a venture company (SNP Genetics) in Seoul and he returned to
korea on July 3. We wish good luck to him.
Farewell Party for Dr. Shin was on July 1 at Fort Detrick.

Drs. Cho kyu-woan and Park Eui-Kyun moved to
new houses for better living conditions.

Dr.
Kim, Kyung-Je visited NCI-FCRDC again to do some research for this summer. Welcome back !
May:

Dr.
Cha, Sung-Chul came back from USDA to NCI-FCRDC. He started to work in the Dr. Larry Kwak's Lab as a postdoc. Welcome back !

Dr.
Kim, Jae-Heup obtained a new visa (O-visa) and he will continuously work at the
NCI-FCRDC.
April:
·
There
was a celebration of a hundred-day-old baby for Dr. Chang Changsoo's daughter
on April 8 at the Fort Detrick Pond.

Dr.
Park Jong-Wook (Keimyung University, DaeGu) founded a venture company, called
iC&G (Immune Cancer & Gene).
The company is focusing on development of PCR-based Cancer Diagnosis and
Cancer Vaccine. We wish good luck to
him.
January-March:

Dr.
Chang Changsoo got a new baby daughter on Decermber 30, 1999. Congratulations for having new baby to his
family.
·
Dr.
Lee Jae-Ho returned to Korea on March 21.
We appreciate for his contributions and help to make our community to be
more friendly. We wish him good luck as
well as to his family in Korea.
·
Dr.
Lee Bum-Soo got a permanent job offer from GIBCO BRL LifeTechnologies
(Gaithersburg, MD). We also wish him
good luck.
·
There
was a farewell party for Dr. Lee Jae-Ho and Dr. Lee Bum-Soo at Dr. Lee
Jong-Keuk's house. We tried to have a
farewell party at Atlantic Ocean as last year.
But the plan failed due to no available place for all of our members.
·
Dr.
Kim Jeong-Min (LG Chemical Institute) is looking for Ph.D scientist who can work
on Cancer Biology. If anyone is
interested or if you know someone who may be interested on this position,

started to play tennis on every Tuesday Night.
